Franklin W. Maddux, founder of Acumen Physician Solutions, brings extensive medical, business and entrepreneurial experience to the company. He serves as the chief medical officer for Fresenius Medical Care North America and is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
For 18 years, he was a staff nephrologist at Danville Urologic Clinic, and later served as its president. He has served on numerous boards and committees involved in developing technology initiatives in both the medical and regional economic development arenas. Dr. Maddux earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
