Dana Hensley brings more than 25 years of health systems management and health information technology experience to Acumen Physician Solutions. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president, clinical solutions for McKesson Provider Technologies. Dana was one of the founding managers of IntelliTx Technologies, a clinical information technology and software company affiliated with Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He previously served as president of the Birmingham Division, Baptist Health System (Alabama), which consisted of three hospitals, an MSO, nursing homes, an HMO, a home health agency and a joint-ventured dialysis partnership. Hensley has served on numerous boards, including as chairman of the Alabama Hospital Association, and is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dana earned a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in health care administration from Washington University School of Medicine.
