Alexis Lund brings over a decade of experience in healthcare IT, specializing in digital health transformation. Prior to joining the Acumen team in 2018, Alexis was an integral part of Epic implementations across 500 outpatient clinics, 10+ critical access hospitals, and approximately 40 medium-to-large scale inpatient hospitals nationwide. With a deep passion for nephrology, she continued with Acumen as she thrives on solving complex challenges to enhance interoperability within the specialty.
As a native of North Dakota, Alexis is committed to ensuring healthcare accessibility, particularly for chronic patients in rural settings. Her specific expertise in value-stream mapping drives efficiency, enabling Acumen to meet the rapidly evolving demands to scale, launch, and deliver at the speed required by the ever-changing healthcare IT and Value Based Care industry.
Alexis received her education from the University of Minnesota studying various areas of healthcare administration, healthcare law and health equity. She is continuing her education currently at the University of Wisconsin for social work due to a keen interest in Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) along with a certification in Information Security.
When Alexis isn’t busy tackling the next thing on her, “To Be Learned List”, she enjoys traveling, reading, design and remodeling homes. Above everything, she cherishes spending time with her family at home in Wisconsin (one daughter, a husband, and two retired military/K9 German Shepherds).
